Breakaway Training is pleased to offer its’ athletes three nutritional services provided by Gabby Dalton. Gabby holds a Nutrition Degree from the American Academy of Nutrition, and is a
professional member of the National Association of Nutrition Professionals.
About Gabby's approach:
Gabby has dedicated herself to guiding clients with their dietary choices. Athletes have particular needs, be it for an extra edge in racing, or fitting their own diet into family life. Some have a medical condition needing dietary adjustments, others want to learn how to eat for maximum athletic performance, to gain or lose weight, or to improve their own or their families' health. Dietary changes do not come easily; the more guidance, information and support provided the more likely the success. Gabby likes to offer her clients not only individualized dietary expertise, but also meal planning, recipes, cooking techniques, cultural variations, shopping guides, personal cooking demonstrations, and time-saving advice, so that the newly acquired knowledge can be applied to the every day routine.
- Diet Analysis: a thorough analysis and breakdown of your diet. With 3-4 days of diet record, an analysis is made of nutrient intake, macro and micro nutrient breakdown (vitamins and minerals included).
- Diet Recommendation: takes the diet record to diet recommendations, goal setting and eating guidance. This includes calorie needs, calorie distribution, food selection. One meeting and one follow-up email/phone call
- Cost: $110 with diet analysis
- Diet Consultation Program: a long term adjustment for nutritional goals and enhanced athletic performance. This is one month of weekly meetings and phone/ emails starting with a diet analysis, followed by goal setting, individualized food selecting, meal planning, recipes fitted to personal lifestyles, and healthy habit coaching. This can include everyday eating and also specialized eating for pre, post and race events.
