| This workout class will help you stay in shape through the winter months. Its aim is to improve your pedaling efficiency through the use of specific drills. It will also allow you to determine your target Heart Rate zones, learn new stretches and introduce interval training in a fun and safe small group environment. |

Class is to meet once a week on Thursday evenings at 6-7:15pm
Classes will be run in two separate 8 week terms.
Term 1 - Nov 4, 11, 18, 24 Dec 2, 9, 16, 23 or 30
Term 2 - Jan 13, 20, 27, Feb 3, 10, 17 and 24 |

Class workouts will be structured in a way that they progress each week. Each class will include the following:
- A deep thorough warm-up
- Specific drills to improve pedal efficiency and leg speed.
- Structured interval sets based on target heart rate zones following a periodized approach.
- A cool-down that includes stretching specific for cyclists.
- Good training practices / habits to help maintain a functional athlete.

| REQUIREMENTS: |

Athletes must provide their own bike, a trainer, a block to raise the bike’s front wheel (2 inches and 5-6 inches), and a heart rate monitor. It would also be a good idea to bring a towel and water. Layer your workout clothing so as you warm up you can take layers off and be comfortable. Bring sneakers or shoes that would be suitable for stretching in. If you do not have a trainer and are interested in purchasing one, please contact Breakaway Training for a recommendation. |

Class size is limited. Please Email breakawaytraining@comcast.net to register. Payment is due on the first day of class. Checks to be made out to Breakaway Training. |
| POLICIES: |

- Current students are given priority registration for the following term.
- Registrations are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Please be on time for class. Classes will start and end on time. Please do not arrive late.
- Please leave your cell phones, gum, perfume and worries outside the workout room.
- Students should advise the instructor of any health conditions.
- All Clients must sign a waiver.
